Off topic cycling chat for the cyclisti out there..
Well, spring is coming and cycling threads get good mileage here because bikes are awesome, obvz.
And so may I suggest a consolidated thread? Should be a good place for discussing bikes, rides and races, even t'grand bookel (Yorkshire for Le Tour).
And for those of you who don't like bikes, you obviously havent copped a load of the ax lightness vial evo, which weighs 600 odd grams but will still carry you down a mountain at 60mph, (and up the other side of course)...

Hey, love that, looks sweet, but is it like the Lightweight frames in that everything else they make is made in Germany but the frames are knocked up in some factory in Taiwan ? If its German made, then I love, love, love it, but if its out of the Giant factory like everything else, it is a good reason to buy another one of these……
or else another one of these…..
or, another…..
Lightness isn't everything, but I'm with you, cycling rocks !!

Most people go with the Raleigh Chopper but personally I'd go with the less obvious and in my opinion underrated GrifterBootsy wrote:Oh good, another bike thread

I had a Grifter (after a Budgie and then a Striker)
Problem with the Grifter - apart from weighing a tonne was the grip shift gear change gave you nasty blisters on inside on your thumb - not good for a southern pampered child like me.

Yikes, remember those big grey bike lights that took 2 D cells and put out a quarter lumen of light? Heavier than some of the whole bikes pictured here!
Sean, yes Ax are 100% german-made carbon, hand rolled on the thighs of Bavarians.
Bootsy, this is the last bike thread we'll ever need, please let us, please boss, please

So, who shaves their legs? Here are my legs. I like to stroke them sometimes.

Happy to contain all the bike talk here and if you lot wish to discuss how you shave your bits then you can do it here too.
