Agreed Insurance Valuation

Post by 911s68 »

Hi Guys

Its that time of year again when my renewal is up.
This is not a please tell me what my car is worth or I might sell if the price is right etc etc.............

I would like your guys opinion to what is a realistic insurance valuation for a RHD 1968 swb 911s, matching numbers in good condition but not concourse. I have for the past few years had the car insured for 40K but just from my own research I feel that is below value. All opinions will be welcome?

Thanks
steve

I suggest sitting down to read because £40k is not the right value

Hi Steve, here is a comparison if it helps. We restored this RHD 68 quite a few years ago now and this sold for £50k, but now I would say £75k maybe a little more.

Thank you for your options.

I will defiantly be amending my valuation based on your feedback.

I just wanted reassurance that I wasn't being unrealistic with my own thoughts of valuation.

Thanks

Just got through my Agreed Valuation forms through to get filled in.

Do you think £130K is a sensible agreed valuation for a nice , but driven, with fully rebuilt , restored drivetrain, 1973 2.4S ?

Edward asking 130k for 2.2S, Gooding asking 200k, I'd be erring on the 150 than the 130, given the current pace and 12mth period of insurance.
