Battery conditioner

Post by Mick Cliff »

I have successfully used an Accumate on the (single) battery of my 3.2 for the past year or so (necessary because of the constant draind endemic with this model)
Now that the 3.2 has gone and a 1972 911E with two batteries has replaced it - how can I "condition" both batteries without removal/disconnection? Or maybe I will not to have the conditioner connected on a regular basis? A '73 911E I had a few years ago never suffered from flattened batteries

Thanks for your help

I have a similar set up and I have connected mine to the terminals of one of the batteries. This works fine.

As I understand it the batteries are connected in parallel anyway and that the charge on both will be maintained.

As said above, just connect to one of the batteries

I'm with James and Nigel - just connect to one; type of optimiser / conditioner not important IMHO - I have a couple of el cheapo Draper units for my cars.
