I have a friend north of the border who is looking for a Pulsar P3. I do appreciate this isn't the usual fare on here but I said I'd ask.
Can anyone point me to point him in the direction of somewhere other than ebay who sells these? Somewhere in Glasgow would be ideal!!

Thanks

James

Anyone after a MINT tudor Big Block?

Been offered one that has just been serviced by Rolex with 2 year warranty and is like new.

Will be just shy of £3k.

I'm not going to buy it but if someone wants it I'll sort it out for them....they don't come up very often and this is the best configuration.

Looks like this....

Well it seems Classic car prices are not the only thing that are sky rocketing....

After a $550k Submariner and a $270k GMT in May, Christies have just sold the first $1,000,000 Rolex Daytona in their auction in Geneva yesterday....

Not bad considering the same model was being sold 2 years ago at circa $200k and then the price was being described as 'unbelievable!'

Hi Jason,
Could you explain why this differs so much from a 'normal' PN Daytona? It seems very early to have screw down pushers, but is that the extent (plus the papers & no doubt NOS condition)?
Many thanks

Hi Anthony,

I'd dismiss the papers...I don't think they are original to this watch and have been 'added'. Certainly didn't have them when sold 2 years ago ;)

It's a black dial PN which is rare enough but it is the Rolex Cosmograph Oyster wording in that order on the top that makes it really rare...

Still a stupid price...even at half the sale price!

Hi Jason,
Thanks for explaining.
I think the PN dial is really the best looking watch ever, but at these prices it means they should live is a safe. Shame really. Given your horological business, I hope you have a few tucked away!
Kind regards

Hi,

I've got a problem ...:).

Blue submariner - losing and then gaining time. Needs a service. Rolex ( goldsmiths ) want 670 for the service and frankly I don't want to pay that ! - anyone know of a good reputable watch repairer that isn't going to fleece me?

Thanks!

My first proper watch was a White Sea-Dweller. Still wear it a lot & know one day I will get a red one! Let me know if one crosses you path. Unfortunately the MilSub is now beyond me!
