Events have conspired against me attending this one for years now, but there's a good chance I'll finally make it this time...

I will probably take the T2 on this occasion, but I will let you know nearer the time and hopefully we can meet up.

I'll be there, all being well and assuming exhaust does not get an ASBO notice before then!

the weather is not looking promising

If its really wet then I'm unlikely to be there... its very difficult to keep a 3year old entertained when its pissing down

I'm told that there's a good bird garden and kid's area only a short walk from where the Porsche area usually is. Play area, too. Experience of kids (from a long time ago!) suggests that bribery works wonders!

The bird garden / play area is very good at Harewood. Weather forcast is looking a bit better for Sunday now. I imagine I will be there :)

Will keep a look out for you James, but no doubt as is always the case with these events, I'll probably miss you!

Well it did chuck it down afterall

Good to meet fellow DDK'ers .. Ian & Mick , could have chatted longer but the rain was bit off putting

Unfortunalty I didn't take any piccys apart from ones of my daughter, so I'm relying on Ian to post some up :)

I spotted your car hot66, very nice. Unfortunately I forgot my DDK stickers. I'll have a look for them before the DDK Nothern Event.

It was nice to see quite a few early cars there. I didn't see any 914s though?

I was parked a few cars away from a nice dark red Speedster and a metalic blue 356 cabriolet, both very nice.

I was quite happy with the rain it helped disguise some of the bubbles on my paint work.

I didn't stay too long perhaps a couple of hours. Whenever I see an early Porsche it just makes me want to go off and drive my own.

The red speedster - owned by one of the Gmund cars crew

I only wandered into that part of the parking once, and got chatting to some people I knew, then my daughter wanted to go & play on the swings  so unfortunatly didn't really have chance to look at your car  I do have a bit of a 'thing' for 356's , would love one in the garage :)

I would have liked to go on the some of the swings too. I didn't see why there should be an age limit.
