'Moving Parts' - need help with transportation

Post by ollieg »

Another parts related 'long shot'!...

Does anyone near-ish to Norwich travel up north from time to time and be willing to transport some 914 body bits and pieces for me?..even better in a van! I've been trying to find some panels for my project and may have found a donor-car in Norwich. Trouble is I'm in Hexham near Newcastle and I reckon it would just be too expensive to justify shipping them by courier or parcelforce etc.

Can anyone help or give me some leads?

Just thought I'd put it out there.

Thanks alot, Ollie.

If you've got a mate with a big company car and free diesel, go for a road trip and buy him lunch. With the price of 914 panels it has to be worth going for a look to see what else is there. If not, I'd be driving down there even if I was paying for the fuel.

Yep, think you might be right...knowing how scarce parts are in the UK. Expect to see lots of 914 parts in the 'for sale' section for astronomical prices very soon!!..ha

Im occasionally driving up to Edinburgh from the Midlands (flybe lost my luggage once tooo often!)

I cant say when Im next coming up but if the parts were to find their way to Staffordshire Im sure I can take the scenic route to Ed to pop in to see Ollie on the way up or back....

How big are the bits :-)

Thanks

Hi,
I live in Norwich, but unfortunately can'd find my way out of Norfolk!
Would gladly hold parts for you until you could sort something out if seller needs them out of the way.
Do you know whether seller has any other 914 parts?

Regards

Steve
