This Started 5 years ago, I wanted to build a group 4 racer after FIA homologation nr 3025
based on a shabby 70 rs rep no engine but lots of rust and filler

After many hours of bodyshutz scraping and careful paint removal on outer panels, off to sandblasting

New inner wings, yup the oil-tank and tubes are changed to the later Carrera from 85

Always nice to look at Barry's metalwork, so Il just skip the rest (2 years) welding bit, and jump to Primer.

On the bench, a cellette would be nice, but old Caroliner isn bad either
just a gentle kick in the rear, and a little pull in the front an voila the hood fitted nicely.
Im just an amateur so real fun to see how the pro work.
I estimated a couple of days to fit the rear quarters ... NOT

Now... the rear ST wheel arches and a bit of lead,
Front wings was purchased readymade (possibly from England) very nice work, fitment welding leadfiller and primed
