A colleague at work just did the introduction to super cars type day at Prodrive - Ferrari, Lambo, Aston for a few laps of each.
He wants to do a track day but doesn't have a suitable car, so I suggested perhaps do one of those full days where you pay for 'part of the car'. I know when I have been I have seem them operate, where you arrive and drive a 911, and get the helmet, lunch, instruction as a package.
Can anyone recommend such a package where perhaps 3 or 4 share the day's cost, or simply join an ad-hoc group ? Personal experience accounts welcome.
Lives in Cheltenham so perhaps Castle Coombe or Silverstone.
Think I remember Russell Lewin ???

Re: Track Day Providers - Need Recommendation
I would suggest book a track - I have used them a lot. They rent Caterham R300s with all inclusive about £1000 per day. Split between 2 and it is cost effective and you get plenty of track time. The cars are awesome and very fast - includes car, fuel, track time, instruction etc so really everything.
Best track day you will do for sensible money. Speak to Johny.

Re: Track Day Providers - Need Recommendation
I've done about a dozen JP days and they are great fun, especially if you have some track experience and can really "have a go" with the cars. The beauty of the BaT days is that you get free instruction and are in the same car all day so you really feel like you have improved after a day with them. Not quite so bling as JP day but Caterhams are hugely satisfying to thrash within an inch of their life ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Re: Track Day Providers - Need Recommendation
Caterhams sound a good first in, so will call BaT to see if they can do 3 drivers across one car perhaps.
Many thanks
