I just pushed a new bearing down onto the column, the old bearing just moves far enough down the column for this to work. Thing is you don't know if this has been done already.

The correct bearing is available from Rose Passion in France. Ferry Man has just got one for his 74.

Yeah, I purchased both top & bottom bearings for my steering column.
I think I got the top from Type911 and the bottom from Rose Passion.
One of them is difficult to find at the moment, it must be the lower.

Resurrecting an old thread but is there an equivalent part for a 1966 car available as I have wobbly steering and there is an old worn homemade bush at the top of the column which needs replacing.
