Post by Helen »

Autobahn/PCT A45 Coventry (just down the road from the NEC) has invited us to a party to celebrate 20 years in business.

June 11th between 10am-3pm they will have a BBQ and entertainment for the kids as well as lots of lovely Porsches to look around the service bay will be available to nose around and staff on hand to answer your questions.

just had a long chat with Lash (the owner) and he is very miffed off with the PCGB at the moment. he is offering a free car clinic and advise, plus the service centre staff will be doing car care demo all day.

the sales room will have a display of vintage Porsches as well as a valater on hand all day.

the BBQ is free and this place is very child friendly they are having a bouncy castle and entertainment for the kids.

if DDK would like to be there promoting the site or using this event as an ecuse for a geat togeather that would be great.

doors open at 10am untill 3pm

think it has something to do with not being able to advertise his New cars and also that the new R/O for west midlands isn't at all interested in backingor promoting this event.

Autobahn have done a lot to help the region in the past.

just popped into Autoahn.

gosh they are really going to town on this event. they have had Autobahn mugs made up and everyone who attends will be given one. everyone will be entered into a free prize draw with some really nice stuff to win.

food and drink is all free. there will be car care demos all day as well as free car inspections. a photographer will be there and Porsche 911 world magazine will be covering the event too.

kids will have a bouncy castle to play on and face painting

extra parking is available(free) at the Windmill Golf club which is right next door and their bar will be open to us if your still hungry or thirsty.

this saturday 11th June from 10am- 3pm come and join in the fun..the more the merrier.
