Lancashire Automobile do some good events, they have the Fellsman coming up for those who enjoy a bit of navigation and the coast to coast which is good and all very reasonably priced when compared to lots of the runs.
On the seat front I had same thoughts in my 912 and went down the route of getting secondhand cobros retrimmed to look like the old recaros and was pleased with the outcome for £500 all in (see picture in link)

They look to of come out really well but I'm looking for something less 'bucket' like and nearer to standard .100702mark wrote:Lancashire Automobile do some good events, they have the Fellsman coming up for those who enjoy a bit of navigation and the coast to coast which is good and all very reasonably priced when compared to lots of the runs.

I've been given the name of a local trimmer whose supposed to be very good. When I get a minute I'll take the car over for him to have a look .

Re: '68 912
My door panels are very ropey and missing the pockets . Unfortunately new ones are out of the question at the moment so I've been looking for an alternative .

Whilst looking at a friends 70's Mini I had a thought that the pockets might do the job . Ten minutes on Ebay and £25 lighter I picked up a pair of these . Not to sure on the date but I'm guessing 80's .

I think they they've come out pretty well and will do the job for now . Also gave the doors a good clean and tided up around the speakers .
