Thanks for that - seems there is a little discrepancy on the Photobucket details i.e. lower case at the beginning and upper case IMG at the end and I had not unticked the 'disable BB code box before posting

Thanks for the kind words - it is nothing special really, I have spent many hours carrying out a full strip down and rebuild, bare metalled, painted in Light Ivory 2 pack, leather retrim to front seats, carpets, etc etc, Running a fully rebuilt 2.4T (the original engine had been sold by the previous owner ) All new brakes, suspension, etc. 5 speed 901 dogleg box
It needs a few little bits to finish off which will be done at leisure seeing as I MOT'd it last year and it sailed through ( much to my surprise ) - which then spurred me on to drive it.
I have tried to keep it as original looking as I possibly could, but the 'purists' will no doubt inform me that certain things aren't quite right for the year - which doesn't really worry me at all. I did it to drive it, not show it off as concourse.
Although one thing for sure - it'll not see rain or salt - my 2 pet hates.......
