My daughter had hers thieved by a pro gang last week. Within 2 hours it was 50 miles away. Police went round to address but it was long gone, probably re flashed.

Good tip on the post-christmas e-Bay off as well, that hadn't occured to me. Should drop them below the £100 for a reasonable one (esp if bidding during the day).

I may well yet weaken and go for a new 4S, having seen the Vodafone Sure Signal (making a full contract a bit more viable): I'm on Vodafone now, and keen to stay with them as the signal on the Broads is very useable, unlike many of the others.
