I built my first Hot rod in 1972 and sold my last hot rod for my 911 in 1988.
In the last 3 years I've been on here I've seen more hot rod pics than between 72 and 88!

To be 'into' the hot rod thing way back then was fab, just ask KS..

To build one to the quality of the about is a very big task, doubt I could do it now.

I think you are right, its one of the first Vettes, V nice car, I like the look and noise of them, and had one, cart handling, v fast on a straight line, looks stunning, I may go for a 98 Convertible when they get cheap, the look a bit like a Ferrari without the servicing costs.
