I can't date that car! Is it pre 53 but without the reflector above the rear light? Do the vents on either side of the rear grill indicate it's a carrera?

Hard to say what it is. Numberplate light above the plate indicates either PreA or AT1. Rear lights aren't original, can't tell if the sunroof is a V screen one or not. Body bumpers suggest PreA, but they maybe added for aesthetic reasons.
Louvers on the decklid meant carrera "back in the day" but now can be bought very easily.
