Everyone calm yourselves...

It's with painful regret I'm compelled to put this great car up for sale - unfortunately its dry cosy garage space is to be 're-prioritised' by piles of DIY detritus and my brother in laws flat contents!

It would be a criminal act of the highest order to expose the SWT to our crappy climate any longer than absolutely necessary...

You may have clocked her at CLM, The Castle, or Revival Car Show - I can confirm it's Richie King's old car (Karmann Konnection) but has had mild refurb to get it to current standard.

The car advertised on VZ was not matching numbers (chassis:engine) and the consensus being it sold too quick too cheap. Nick, I understand the orange car based on Isle of Wight arrived at your works with a flat 6?

The price is strong - but you can't dip into the classifieds for a UK matching numbers SWT in decent condition every day of the week...It's definitely a niche car for someone looking for something a bit different and the perfect base for a concourse resto.

My car and the orange IoW SW were caught on a Peter Morgan YT video at Max's earlier this year:

Hi Tom,

It was me that guided you back to civilization from Hedingham, it was good to meet you and have a short drive together!

Surely the alternative solution would be to rent another garage and keep the car! I know I'd regret selling it if it were mine.
Anthony.

I had that thought too!

Tom, the engine in the car advertised on VZ falls into the correct range, are you sure about the non matching #´s?

Jesse
my apologies if I'm misinformed - just going on comments of prospective buyers at Classics at the Castle and seller could not confirm nos. match?

No worries Tom!

The COA hasnt been ordered yet but id be surprised if it wasnt the original engine since its in the correct range but you never know until the COA has arrived.
