Early morning blast into Wales
Finally managed to get the car out in to Wales for a decent run yesterday early morning, here's a couple of quick pics from a road just off the 'EVO triangle'.
Was so quiet i even managed to take the pics on the correct side of the road!
Cheers, Ross.

I was out there last weekend for a stag-do and took the e36.. Fantastic roads! Posted a couple of pics in the non-porsche pic of the day thread

Re: Early morning blast into Wales
wow that looks amazing! what sort of thing do you have to do in photoshop to achieve that sort of effect? is it just tweaking contrast/colour/brightness or is there more to it than that?
Re: Early morning blast into Wales
I'm no expert so trust me it takes no skill! All my pics are stored in Google Picasa and all I did was use the built in editing tool in their web interface to crop it, auto-fix the colours and apply their standard 'Lomo-ish' filter effect (that effect seems to suit the car's age quite nicely).
It did come out quite nicely though didn't it! One for the wall I think.

More than welcome to use it if it's good enough Definitely getting it blown up and up on a wall somewhere anyhow.

i might have to take a look; could do with a windows compatible replacement for iphoto
Re: Early morning blast into Wales
Picasa is really excellent, both the desktop software (works with Windows and Macs) and the web based service. I think I pay Google about $20 per year for 80GB of space to sync all my photos to as well.

Sounds great! I believe there's a microsoft equivalent software for the computer but doesn't have the online capability.. Will have to have a proper look into it and set something up

Basically all the software has done is increase the contrast and added saturation to the colour.
