At the risk of boring you ?(928 rally incar + revised susp')

Post by Cortina »

Not long back from Donegal rally , with seriously revised suspension (springs , dampers , ride height ...)
Also now have pace notes sound recorded , and we experimented with a few different camera positions.

Ulster Rally next ... but it's so far away , I think I need to find something to keep me "match fit" ... hmm

Car has been greatly improved - not having to lift off when you see a big bump looming does wonders for stage times :)

Royal Enfield .. still in India
GL 1800 Tour DCT, for pleasure / Fantic 240 Professional - play
Rally 911 (1966) build parked for a while
Rally 928 (work started again - inc serious weight loss programe !)
.... and now another VW Up GTI owner.

Great stuff again. Thanks for sharing.

I do wonder about your steering set up. It seems like a fair amount of input is required? Would a quicker rack help or perhaps a change of caster?

Cracking work Alan. You're really shifting in that thing now  The power is awsome, not the most nimble round the corners for a big car but not bad at all, the acceleration seems to more than make up for that. Impressive stuff :)
