Nurburgring Laps

Does someone know the laps in Nurburing better than me? Which lap are they doing in the 24 hour race the 28k lap? The lap times seem slow compared to the one that the street cars try to set a time on but it't not clear which circuit they are doing?

I think the 24 hour race includes a lap of the Grand Prix circuit, which makes for a longer overall lap.

Though I could be wrong :)

I am at the Ring now. The 24H uses the GP circuit in one of its many guises as well, but different from the F1 GP! The current track length is 25.3 km (15.7 mi). You can get live timing at http://www.24h-rennen.de/LIVE.94.0.html. It's live on TV on Sport 1 if you can get German TV

I have been pit crewing for a BMW M3 in the classic 3 hour race on the Friday. The weather has been amazing. We had heavy rain and hail on Wednesday, sun fit to burn on Thursday and even hotter on Saturday. Very unlike the Ring
