Thanks for posting that! I ended up then spending the next hour on YouTube watching loads of other Porsche films - perfect with a glass of wine and all the kids asleep - blissful :drunken:

I enjoyed the Porsche Classis video too. I'm guessing they are as good as the video says they are? Since they have access to the original workers, drawings and tools! However, I'm guessing it comes at a price.

Did they also say that all 959 made are still workinig and on the road?

From memory Jochen quoted iro Euros 150-170,000 for full resto (taking approx twelve months) and, yes, we were told all the 959s are still running.

Was quite amused to hear that Porsche Classic scour Ebay for parts they don't have or manufacture. So next time you're bidding you could be up against them...

Good to see Jochen again.
Doesn't he have a nice Karmann Ghia too? (With 993 running gear)
Or is that a different Jochen Badder?

didn't realise it was him  .. one of my all time fav VW's 8)

Explains why he wasn't the 'corporate' type ... he came across as a passionate enthusiast who was also pretty open / honest about things. Good to see someone like him running the Classic side of Porsche 8)
