Although the prospect of sitting in the car in a train under water does seem a little odd.

If anyone there is selling a good entry level fourteen, take lots of pictures and a phone number please.
I'm hoping to get into 914 ownership for about £6k if you hear of anything
Thanks and enjoy the trip, sounds great

Anyone got a really good tinted & laminated front screen for a 914 ? or know where you can buy them new ?
Need by this weekend absolute latest or might be going to International in a BMW !!!

Simple screen replacement has turned into a mare. Too p*ss*d off to explain. Suffice to say, car currently without a screen or Mot with only a week to go.

Thanks guys,
I got a clear Pilkington one before I realised it was clear and my car is tinted. Pilkington only make to order so would be circa 3 weeks to get another.
These are the current Pilks prices (+vat) £151.48 green, £150.98 clear & £156.82 green top over green in case anyone is interested.

I've been trying to find someone with one in stock. Still looking but no success so far and time is running out.
Cheers

Can you not fit for the clear one for now and order your tinted one ?
I'm sure you could re-sell the clear one

Given the issues/damage to paintwork, clips, trim, etc removing the original one then no way I'm going through that again. It has taken me 3 weeks, 10 hours of work and over £300 just to get to the point of being able to put a new screen back in.
Once it's in, it's in for good and I never want to remove it again !!

You can tell I wish I never started !! :x
