550 Spyder for hire?

Hi... I'm a newbie and am getting married to my girlfriend of 5 years this summer.

It's always been my dream to drive off from the church in a 550 Spyder.
I've hunted high and low for somewhere that hires 550 Spyders for a day and found nothing. I'm only getting married once and so am really not willing to compromise (unless it literally is impossible to find somewhere to hire one) on the car of my dreams.

Does anyone know somewhere that hires/rents Porsche 550 replicas ?
The film directors manage to get hold of them... where do they find them ?

Film companies use organisations such as :

The Classic Car Agency
PO Box 427, Dorking, Surrey, RH5 6WP.

Trouble is few owners can afford to have their cars (550 Spyders) insured for any driver so insurance can be a problem.

Most film use lets owners drive the cars.

The other place to try is the Speedsters Club http://www.speedsters.com/
They have a number of members who have 550 spyders - perhaps one of them can help.

Are you sure we can't talk you out of the wedding and then with all the money you would save you could get your very own 550....
