Doesn't Jay Kay own UHH now?
I remember seeing it just after it was rebuilt as well as on a PCGB rally to Ireland back in 2002 (I think!)
There were some articles written on it within Porsche Post 10 years+ ago

Re: Amazing barn find and a journey of discovery
Is anybody else really disappointed with how boring 'real time' actually is?
I want to see the finished car now
Wasn't Tomorrow's World promising us all time machines by 2011 anyway?
I still think it will be finished before Mike's RSR though....and Brendans engine

Re: Amazing barn find and a journey of discovery
Finally, finally caught up with this: I've had all sorts of people telling me about this thread recently, and I wanted to able to do it justice with a 'proper' read.
Many congratulations you two! I'm delighted for you, and TBH for the car: so often these things seem to drop into the hands of someone that simply wants to make a quick buck and flip it straight on. The continuing research is fasinating, and I know that you will do Eve* justice. Very much the sort of thing that you don't even dare dream of, and it's brilliant that it's happened to a couple of really genuine enthusiasts.
*Great name .

Hi Guys
This car is making me very excited about mine. I have started to save all the pictures here for reference. Seems that SWB tail lights is the thing on these cars. If all the 320 cars have swb lights and we restore our 69s with them you car tell the judge at the concourse he knows nothing....
Interesting we are finding all the 69 car one after the otehr but no 67 320 XXX cars

Re: Amazing barn find and a journey of discovery
The pictures on the thread are now all back up.
We knew that the car had gone through several owners since it came to the UK before turning up in Scotland. One of those owners was the Borders Garage owner that Brendan spoke to and was unable to provide much more information as it was only one of several 911's he restored in the 70's and 80's.
Back in the late 80's I bought my first 911 in Edinburgh. It was a shed of a 2.4 E RHD in metallic green. I was green behind the ears. I had done 15 years of drooling, reading and taking pictures of early 911's. I had done a lot of saving but despite going to see several cars I could never bring myself to buy. I think the E purchase was eventually one of desperation. I drove it home from Edinburgh, used it for a few weeks, failed it's MOT and sat in my garage for 7 years. I was at a low ebb. Then I had two pieces of luck. Prices crashed in the early 90's and I came into some money through a fortuitous business deal. The hunt was back on. I saw an advert in PP for an RS in the Borders. The upshot was I bought the car with the E taken in p/e. This E has now turned up years later, owned by a DDKer, and is totally gorgeous. It still lives in Scotland.
I bought the RS off Jack Laidlaw and he came over to Ayrshire with the RS on a trailer and picked up the E. The unloading and loading was done by Jack, myself and his friend. I was in seventh heaven and at last I had my drivable early 911.
About a month ago I had a phone call out of the blue one Saturday morning.
'Hi, my name is David Murray, do you remember me?'
It turns out David was Jack's friend who had helped deliver the RS all those years ago (1994 I believe).
'I have been told about another car you have found' said David.
'I used to own that car, it's a 69E RHD in black with a red interior'.
