Well lets hope Mr McNally likes buying restored pre-production Porsches that he was the first owner of......he's worth about £600m!!!!

That was the car I was referring to but couldn't find a photo, and of course it was LHD - I will look harder as I know it is on EarlySReg and is a single car pointing to the left.

Mike the RHD piece early in the thread must have thrown most of us :-)

Contact Paddy McNally to fill in some gaps
Call Barry and reserve a slot for the metal work
Start acquiring all of those 69 only parts in preparation for the rebuild
Start coming up with a devious plan of how to drip feed and tease DDK members regarding the story
Continue my day to day role of "4 oclusal, 6 oclusal" etc.
Sit of an evening with a smile at our amazing discovery
Think about how we could rebuild the engine a little quicker than Brendans
