one PM message removed due to filters

Post by TheEasyLife »

Have just seen this on my PM page. Haven't a clue if its a new PM or an old one.

Any clues from the moderators? Have I sent or received a PM with a word that is not allowed?

Very strange!

It could be somebody sent it and then edited / deleted it - it shouldn't have been censored as far as I know.

I have deleted a PM I sent to someone before it was read and the user knew it was from me. Unless he'd seen it was there but not read it with a view to reading it later then it had dissapeared later?

I'll try and take a screenshot of it if it happens again.

Thanks

James

Edit to say thanks for such a speedy response!

Do'h! Its because I have 100 PM's and in order to accept a new one it deletes the oldest hence removing a message due to filters. Do'h again just for good measure.

In the tech support world we call this a 'pebcak' issue.
