I get the problem here at work but I just keep hitting refresh or go and come back and I can then access the forum, or by going to the welcome screen first then to the forum. All seems to be 100% fine at home though.

Still having the problem on computer, phone and iPad when at home and out and about. I can get on a work now (which is how I'm writing this) but otherwise, regardless of refreshing etc. I can't get on.

No access to DDK for the last 2 days, but cured itself last night.
Same problem - 'can't find server' pointing once again to a DNS and/or ISP problem. Everything else works just fine.
Getting tedious now

It does seem like dns issues to me
Nothing I can do this end
Always try without the www
I could get the ip address and see if you can access it direct rather than via the URL

The frustration is that I'm not having any of these issues with any other website or forum, and I go on a lot of different ones, just DDK. I haven't ever had problems at all with it before, only since the update, whether or not that has anything to do with, is just coincidence? But I do realise that there are more important things than one person's intermittent issues :) just letting you know that's all.

Same problem, can get on some pages but most give the following error.

Network Error (dns_server_failure)

Your request could not be processed because an error occurred contacting the DNS server.
The DNS server may be temporarily unavailable, or there could be a network problem.

Ipad not working wither.

Playing havoc with my marriage, I now have to actually talk to the Mrs.......

Update wouldn't have caused it

If you cant access the front page at www.ddk-online.com then it's a dns issue that I can't help with, sorry

No DDk !!

Post by Bruce M »

Spent most of the week with no ddk access. Was staying at Centerparcs and their wifi network gave a "not found" error for ddk.

Everything else was fine though

You might find that you need to flush the DNS on your computers;

On a mac - open up terminal (applications > utilities) and type the following:

OSX Lion: dscacheutil -flushcache
OSX pre-lion: lookupd -flushcache

There are instructions here for other machines too: http://www.eukhost.com/forums/f15/how-c ... ines-6337/

That resolved the issue for me.
