Have been wondering about selling the old girl since I don't get the chance to drive her much nowadays, but when I look at these recent pics I'm not sure I could bring myself to do it.

Wowza, what a very splendid looking motor.
I would probably want to keep hold of her too, Herr Kuult.

Us old folk are always moaning that society has gone downhill (what with gangs looting & rioting on the streets and the prevalence of knife crime amongst disadvantaged youngsters) and yet back in the sixties manufacturers needed to castigate drivers for reckless use of fog lights. Nothing changes.

I'll have to check the paint code when I get back to the UK. It's on the LH A pillar, no?mycar wrote:Very lovely, what colour is she ?
Mike.
It's had a full respray in the past (before my ownership) and I think the flakes in the metallic are a little different to the original paint that is still visible in certain hidden places. The only paint I've had done is to sort out the front bumper. It was very chipped and had started to corrode at the outer rearward tips so I recently had it fully blasted and repainted. Made quite a difference to the big picture as it was the only zone with visible rust.
Cheers,
Paul.
