1971 2.2 911T Coupe.

- the RHD one on ebay !

Engine number looks likely to be correct for 'matching numbers'.

Yes, that's the one. Was wondering if I can find anything out from the VIN like original colour, options etc.
Cheers

I'm afraid not - all you can tell is that it's a Porsche-built '71 2.2T Coupe manufactured towards the end of the '71 model year.

Ian McLeod may know more about it as it's a RHD model & may well be on his PCGB register.

You would still need to ask the seller for the paint code number on the paint code tag to find the original colour.

The engine number is not from a Sportomatic - so either the engine has been replaced with one from another (manual) 911T built around the same time or the information about it being a Sportomatic model is incorrect.

The info is direct from the DVLA car check system we use.... i.e what is shown on the V5 - cannot access previous keepers/ names /addresses though due to data protection, that can be 'bought from the DVLA though'

Sorry I missed this as I have been spending too much time this week experiencing the new outdoor Cornish life (i'm f*cking knackered already!!!!!!). I can have a look on monday to see what I have got when I am back up in the midlands and if it's a UK RHD car should be able to confirm original colour and engine number.

Sorry it can't be sooner but monday is before the auction ends so hopefully it will be good enough.

Ian.

PS pictures always make a car look way better than they really are and this one already looks a shed

Looked at this car today - as you'd probably expect needs serious work and not for the faint hearted

Good luck if you're bidding.
