Looks like Golden Green.

According to DVLA it hasn't been taxed since the end of 1995 ...

Thanks Andy.

I guess the lack of tax ties in with the 'dry stored' comment.

Much obliged. :)

As it's not too far away it's worth looking at but something doesn't seem quite right ...

The ad states that the car has been dry stored for 14 years & that the engine had a full rebuild by Andy Prill - the engine photo doesn't seem to suggest that the engine has just been rebuilt & (as far as I remember) Andy Prill hasn't been in business for 14 years ...

"Good smooth runner with regular maintainence" doesn't tally with "Dry stored for last 14 years" ...

Andy Prill was on his own for a fair while before getting together with Lee M-P. Wouldn't like to speculate whether it's 14 years or not. Ring him up if in doubt.

Doesn't say when the engine was rebuilt, you are just assuming it was 14 years ago. The ad could do with more information but it certainly appears to be a car to go and view with a cheeky deposit in the back pocket and a kick in the balls on the price.

"Dry stored" could just mean kept in a garage and used on dry days only.

You often find photos used in adverts can be out of date by some years.

Additional oil filter position looks in line with some of Andy's work I've seen.
It looks pretty and seems a fair price if it checks out.

Just a thought: does dry stored mean it is always kept in a garage rather than was unused?

Cheers

Bare metal restoration, bodywork and interiors by Transend.
Engine rebuild by Andy Prill ( Maxted-Page & Prill )
Maintainence by Gantspeed
MOT 12 months
Dry stored for last 14 years
Undersealed
Good mileage
Good smooth runner with regular maintainence
One Californian owner then two UK owners.
Detailed invoice notes available

I'd be surprised if it had been a full rebuild since Andy has been with MP&P, since about 2006 if memory serves. Looks a bit tired from that photo…

I'd ring Andy and ask him.

As has been said doesn't seem to add up from evidence on offer.
But may all be good.
Phonecalls to the companies mentioned should easily verify the facts.
