Of course Cortina, Easter Weekend... Circuit of Ireland Rally. That brings back memories...Rosemary Smith, Roger Clarke, Billy Coleman, Cahal Curley and not forgetting the Lancia Stratos!

Spoke to Dessie McC today - he drew a blank too ... between us we could think of at least 9 names rallying 911's in those days .... Irish - none even similar to what you are looking for.
I thought T/E/S only came into being with LWB models ? ... shows how much I know !!

(Are you 100% sure of name ? ....... visualise (probably wrongly !!) where you are going with this .... "he" won't like it !! :) )

Thanks for trying it's really good of you. My reasons for trying to trace the cars history is to rebuild it correctly. I have sent you a PM to explain in more detail. Thanks again Paul.

I did a search of my mid to late 70s CoI and Ulster programmes, and there was no sign of a Patrick Ross in any sort of car. Like Alan and Dessie, not a name I recognise.
Cheers

Mike
