Lights on - wiring for horns and indicators in progress

Working on the interior wiring. Gear stick fitted; new clutch cable in today:

Will bleed brakes tomorrow and get those working. Need to finish front wiring and lift the front.

May then be able to start it and drive for first time over easter. Taking LOADS longer than planned!

Oh also fitted the door locks inside and out.

Good progress isn`t it.

After all the argy bargy, the paintwork looks superb, looks to have a real glow. Are you happy with it ?

I am really pleased with it. Haven't spotted any issues at all. Really starting to look like a car with components slowly being added!

Had to do a bit of fibreglassing last week as the spare tyre well hadn't been sealed to the front panel. Slowed me up a little but hoping to get on a roll and really make progress but the end of the April bank hols.

Looking great!
Which locks and mechanisms did you use?

the door locks are off a Daimler Dart - David Manners can supply these.

The mechanisms are VW beetle. But if I were to do this again I'd use some that are easier to fit like the ones on CBS!!
