I still don't really get the B289 refs? Other than there were a few more show cars that year. Dubs 'proper' all kicked off in '86 for me and most other's I thought?

I've never really understood why 89 but it's a tag that seems to have stuck

What a car! I remember being stood next to it at Bug Jam (92?) and he came over to it smoking a tab, started the apparently immobile mint show car and ran a 13 second 1/4 with his arm out the window.

Love it 8)

Anyway back to the wheels :)
