I think a Northern based ddk UK-alles Christmas dinner might be a future project?

Very welcome to join us any time Chris, nothing Northern folk like better than someone who sorts the bill out. :)

Oh dear I had a thick head this morning.

Excellent night though... where else can you discuss the finer points of crank fire whilst fine dining, other than DDk night out. Mick, it was my good fortune to sit next to you.

I fear I may of offended Mr Donkins southern sensibilities, sorry Ian but words like that are just a term of endearment oop North. :)

Thankyou James for organising, it was great to catch up with everybody.

Let`s hope Mr 58A-71E pulled through, he was looking decidedly queasy at one point.

Yes thanks for getting us all together again James, a very enjoyable evening.

Perhaps a Northern, winter blast through the Dales could be next when the salt and nasty snow goes away

Brilliant Mike, truly brilliant. It's not often I get to hear that word down South and it's never delivered with the same Northern 'Uh' for the second letter. Moment of the night for me was that single word - pure class

Thanks for letting me join you all - really enjoyed the evening and must do it again when the diary permits.

Here's a couple of pictures I took in the Mens room:

1968 LHD 911L - was the Wife's but now in new hands :-(

Good venue, food, beer, craic and company 8)
Ian has obviously been south of the watford gap for some time now, he's in danger of not calling a spade a fookin shovel   Although top marks for making it to both DDK Xmas meets.

Still alive mate - just the persistent man flu  Having to get up next morning for work with all that Tim Taylor's Landlord inside me didnt help the queasiness :drunken:
