[quote="Ferry Man"]Former keeper = Elvis Aaron Presley. :)

Elvis looks very thin in that shot - must have been taken before he started a full time residency at Burger King !

This Bugatti was superb. Fantastic quality. 'Never seen paint so deep. Lovely.
Only only show today though, not up for auction until Feb 2011 (in Paris).
Maybe Ferry Woman would like a trip to Paris, just a week before Valentines Day....

A few other sights:
The SS was a really old restoration. Obviously done well and looking superb many years later.
The Cobra was reckoned to be worth over £1/4m.
Someone fancied a Gullwing. It was a nice Christmas present to themselves after the hammer fell at £400,000. :)

The Bugatti was truly stunning, the quality of the paint, hood and plating was fabulous. Everything was sooo shiny. Sorry to burst you bubble about the Fiat 500, but it was a replica  and it fetched £10K!

Paul? Nick?

Did the Zagato Ferrari sell :?:

Conspicuous by its absence in the photos.

I would have loved to Paul but, unfortunately, I'm not in as fortunate enough a position as you & Nick when it comes to swanning around on a Monday afternoon. My loss, I know  (maybe when I get to your age though   ).

Confused here!

We went to the Brooklands Museum on the Saturday (we're Trust Members) and there was some sort of auction there too - was this a full weekend-and-a-bit event?

Great pictures as always Paul 8)
2006 RHD 997 Carrera (but DDK remains in my heart - also now no longer)
1972 LHD 2.4T with '73 2.4T CIS motor - gone to a new DDK home
1994 RHD 993 Carrera - gone!
1968 LHD 911L - was the Wife's but now in new hands :-(

Ian, yes, rather odd but there was another auction (by 'Historics') at the old museum the previous Saturday.
Also another by Barons (at Sandown Park) on the 7th December and another by Coys (at the Royal Horticultural Halls) same day.
Plenty of chances to buy yourself a present. :)
