I can do the carbs in Europe / MFI in the US bit for you Mike.
2006 RHD 997 Carrera (but DDK remains in my heart - also now no longer)
1972 LHD 2.4T with '73 2.4T CIS motor - gone to a new DDK home
1994 RHD 993 Carrera - gone!
1968 LHD 911L - was the Wife's but now in new hands

Thanks Ian, I'd worked that out
also the US cars had (according to Mr conservative Dr F Porsche), 140bhp as opposed to 130 for the carbs.

Depends on where in Europe the car was originally shipped to ... most would have been LHD

the aim is to show how little pcgb know, so come on, PCGB think it's just headlights, I think they are wrong.

Doesn't a US T have 'labels' above the switches too, and a fasten seat belt light?

Headlights
Sidelight/indicators (turnsignals)
Rear lamps
Mfi vs Zeniths
VIN tag on inside left hand windscreen pillar (US only)
Seat belt warning 'buzzer' (US only)
I'm sure there are more ...

Were they sticking smog/emissions junk on them by then? Or was that only in certain States if at all?

One for the dealers then, values of mfi and zenith equipped cars in the UK? Is there a premium? And if so, why?

Isn't there a additional carbon can in the fuel vapour recovery system?

Would they have changed all the bolts and fixings to imperial rather than metric

More dependent on condition rather than induction, although I would perfer MFI. Last 6 months of 73 production for USA Ts were CIS equipped rather than MFI.
