Anybody tell me what this is...it's hanging off the wiring loom, but not connected to anything!?

Its the area below the right side of the air cleaner. Could be wires to
a) overrun cut-off switch
b) oil pressure switch
What colour are the wires

I have one of these loose wires as well....
Everything electrical works (oil temp, pressure etc) and there is nothing within reach (or even out of reach) for it to fit to. Wiring diagrams also offer no help on the colours or possible use.
I just stopped worrying about it eventually!
Maybe is something to do with MFI on the US 'T's rather than the carbs on the Euro versions?
