Maybe not crashed, but certainly badly put together :)

Only a close inspection would tell you just why the light is sitting at that angle.

Do you know your way around an early 911....if not, take someone who knows them when you go have a look.

Do you know anything of its history....looks as tho someone has spent a fair bit of money on it at some stage? Where is it? Might be local to someone on here who could go with you and help you look it over?

WHILE THERE ARE A NUMBER OF OBVIOUS INCONSISTENCIES .....from seats to door mirrors ,it does look like a refurb and by whom wud be my first question, from door shut lines looks pretty good, maybe even a colour change ? .............lights horn grills! Above all ride height looks very odd to me ?

May all be nothing that cant be remedied by an older 911, Porsche specialist like Early 911........................OR IT CUD HAVE BEEN ALL PUT BACK TOGETHER AS A NIGHT MARE ...............as some one else alreday said get an expert to check it out..............

i would like to see a photo with the targa roof in place as to me the roll bar dosn't look in line with the windscreen.
the roll bar looks quite alot lower one end than it is the other.

although that could be just the angle the photos are taken at.

The nearside indicator and horn grill look out of alignment when compared with the offside IMO. Has it had a new wing a replacement wing on that side? Could be a later IB wing with a section badly welded in.

Cheers guy's the vendor of course says that the indicator and that mudguard were poorly put toghether, but to be fair if you go to an extensive restoration and you paint all ther car put S seats, why not put right a horrid mistake like that one? The car is abroad so is more difficult to go an see it.
Helen, the roof doesn't look to be out of place so might not be a big accident but in the last picture you can see it is a little high
it is a little strange

they're incorrect seats anyway ... they are from a later car.

Looks like it has had a shiny blow over

What is he asking ?

My initial impressions are that the car has had a quick/cheap 'blowover' respray - it certainly doesn't look to have been 'restored'.

I wouldn't personally buy this car unless it's very cheap & you have the skills/expertise to carry out any remedial work yourself.

Paint work looks very sketchy in some close up pics, especially on the front bumper and n/s wing, dent in the bootlid is kind of strange and the badly fitting wing looks very worrying, not sure how it could be that far out just from bad alignment? looks like something more serious could be hidden behind it. Be afraid

I certainly wouldn't entertain buying it for anywhere near that price ...

Incidentally, you don't need an SVA test - just an MOT (&, depending on where you register it, probably an inspection to verify the VIN).
