No I am lucky enough to still have the 'S" here, although the seller of this car is keen as mustard to get his hands on it.

The car is a 73 RS 2.7 Touring. The engine and gearbox seem to of had quite a bit of work on them but they are still both original for the vehicle, I believe it had a body restoration by RS Panels in 98 as well as a respray back to its original colours, as you see it. It has quite clearly been used as she has covered approx 128k.

It has spent some of its life in Guernsey, not sure how long but we are now the 6th or 7th owner if I have it right.

Spoke to Autofarm before buying the car as they have known if for nearly 30yrs, it was primarily on the basis of this conversation that we decided to make the offer the day before we came away for the C2C, collected in weds after. It has a history file which is by no means extensive as it has big gaps in it but what we have gives you a good idea that it has been looked aster by its owners.

Piece of trivia for you, it was sold at auction in Dec.95 for £24,443.13 incl VAt & premium. If only it was that much now.

Nice one Mark. You hinted at the C2C that it was on the cards. Looks very nice. Look forward to seeing it in the flesh.
Wish you many happy miles.

Regards
Mike
