Thanks all for the thumbs up on the colour! Although it does make the black sidewinders a bit difficult to see. (they were turquoise when I first got the car!)

Yes Tim thanks for doing the speed switch, it makes a noticeable difference to the fuel economy andhas also stopped me burning the paint off the noses of any tailgaters when I take my foot off the throttle and hit them with my exhaust flame thrower!!

I will be going to CLM next year...hopefully with trick engine installed and next week will hpefully be in Abbeville for the SCRS 25 years celebration.
Anyone else going?

cheers

Right.....this is not the same car! ....seriously, it definitely had white side script... despite lavender glasses.
Cheers,
Vicki.

I'm definitely sticking with purple with white side script....truly...that is what I saw!
It must have been a different car....(unless it was A funk odyssey?) :)
Cheers,
Vicki.

This is really interesting....

Because only shortly before, we have been discussing the JK car here on DDK.

I wonder whether there was any false memory connection made a la, "Ah a sea blue car, just like JK. He had white sidewinders, didn't he? "

Alternatively, J36 isnt too far from Gmund Harrogate, so who knows?
