What a most excellent weekend. Many thanks James for all your careful organising and planning. The routes were absolutely perfect and the hotels just right.

Here are a few of Alex's photos.

some great photos on this thread 8) Puts my snaps to shame

I think the award for the most consistently bad navigating has to go to Jonathon & Barry ;) ...... At the T-junction at the end of Wrynose pass we all knew we had to go to Ambleside ......... Barry got out of the car , looked at the sign post which said Ambleside was to the right, got back in teh car & promptly went left

Sunday morning, 1st 'waypoint' was Skipton .... every car turned left out of the hotel to Skipton ......... Jonathon & Barry turned right

As they are still not back yet I assume they are now lost in Cheshire  ;)

Anyone else struggle for traction on the Hardknott ? Just glad it wasn't wet like last time I was up there !

Many many thanks to James and the team for making this a wonderful weekend :)

Caroline and I completed all of the route eventually including completing the Hardknot pass at 6pm on Monday evening.

The hire car was great but the company were a little suprised that we managed to do 665 miles in it  All with the roof down.
