1969 911E - whats the story??

Post by kevdodd »

Ebay Item 1160361576096

I am sure that car was sold on ebay a few weeks or so ago.

Appears it back again, but look at the price. Is this just a mistage or what?

Itching to bite his arm off, but don't want mine bitten off and more if this turns out to be something sinister.

yep it was. Sold for £22k.

Previous owner listed it on ebay was located in Aylesbury, new one is different and based in Liverpool?!

He has even used the same photos and description!

... a bit more digging.

The bloke who is selling it now, is not the one who bought it from the original lister back at the end of Aug.

Now I am interested more. I have mailed the new seller to see what he comes back with. Looks like he may have something to do with breaking companies, so maybe the buyer stacked it or I dunno.

Sorry, not sure what happened there.

Correct one is - 160361576096

After being on that page for a few seconds or so, does it reload with odd format, for everyone else, or is it just me!? I get an .icgi. inserted too on the URL address.

Looks like a scam to hijack/kidnap your ebay account info.

If you run an ebay search using the terms 'Porsche 911', '1969 Porsche', 'Porsche 911 E' etc the listing doesn't show up - definitely phishing for your identity.

crapper. So if you then say ask seller a question - where it then asks you to re-enter the password, then it will rip you off!! nice.

I don't think I asked the seller that way, but I am gonna email ebay anyway to let them know!!

Cheers

I found it originall by searching for Porsche 911 then selecting the all cars and whatever bit. Then selecting model years 1969 (2 listed) and 1973.

Have changed ebay password now, just incase.

BTW, if you search for porsche 911 e, it shows up on my PC!!
