I've got 2 sets of gauges which I no longer need, so here goes:
The first set are what I believe to be from a 356A - they all need new bezels and a good clean, the combination gauge needs a full refurb of internals I think. The speedo and tacho mechanicals all function correctly.
I'd like £100 for the set
The second set are 911S gauges, believed to be from a 1970 car. After posting a thread in the tech advice section and getting some help from Lightweight_911 (thanks again Andy), I finally managed to track down the guy I bought them off again and he confirmed he'd taken them from a 1970 car which he'd broken for parts, and confirmed what he said to me when I purchased them that they were all working correctly before removal.
Price is £350 for the set
Thanks for looking
Phil

Hi Jon58herbie wrote:Whats up with the combi gauge??.
how does the rev counter get a signal??
is 100 the best price you can do??
just thinking these could be good for another project i have in mind.
Thanks
Jon
The rev counter isn't electronic, it's mechanical (driven by a worm drive off the oil pump) - probably only suitable for use in a 356.
The combi gauge needs new internals I think (or a re-furb) because the gauges don't seem to respond (I've tested them)
Cheers, Phil
