The winch was in terrible shape, but worked fine.
Found this helpful hint after sandblasting.
The frame of the winch was galvanized. The balance of the mechanism was powdercoated because the gears would not have meshed properly with 1/16" of zinc on them. The tolerances on the rest of the parts wouldn't have allowed it either.

Lighting installed and operative.
Installed spare tire bracket and spare. Installed a new dual wheel tongue jack. I find myself doing "musical cars" all summer and it would be helpful to be able to move the boat easier.
After a little spiffing up of the deck, glass and chrome she's ready to be reunited with her berth.
Looking foreward to Tuesday evening. Manpower and will power will be necessary for this task.
