Rotor Arm - Help

Post by ryanha »

Hi everyone.

I have a 2.0l 1969 engine with a green housing which I'm thrying to get going! I have new plugs, points and fuel and just need a replacement rotor arm as this has a part snapped off. I'm trying to source a new one but dont really know where's best to look and which to ask for.

Please see the image for more of an idea. I know its a Magneti Marelli but I've been told there are 3 it could be?

If anyone could anyone point me in the right direction that would be much appreciated. The I can see if she wants to fire up!

Thanks in advance

Green housings are usually E engines, and I would simply go to Berlyn Services for your parts.
There are 3 rev limits for the T/E/S engines, and the rotor usually has the limit moulded into the top side surface, ie '6500' (rpm) but I can't see it in your pics.

Bert there will send you the right one for the engine.
Best get a nice new cap too as the combination will be an investment for reliability.

Graham.
