Heated Windscreens

Post by Bertroex »

Just a heads up: I bought a heated windscreen for the targa from the mysterious Fennlane Motorsport in Nuneaton.

http://www.imptechnic.co.uk/

Havent seen it yet but at the price of £165 I'm willing to risk it.

Chris Flavell has a 4 more in stock. Good timing for me anyway, as I just needed one to finish off the restauration!

Best regards,

Did they do you a special price, Bert? They list them at 277.00 on their web-site.

Cheers! :drunken:

Well, I have one - from Fenn Lane - because I thought it would be lighter than having full cabin heating. It is, so if you can drive with both hands and feet firmly pressed against the windscreen you will be warm enough.

Trouble is, you need a stick in your mouth to keep the throttle depressed and that makes it difficult to sing....

They are the way forward for an old aircooled car, just not to warm the cabin up
