peering over the parapet - new member

Post by dragonfly »

Hello,

I've been lurking for some time now, and was finally prompted to sign up so I could add to the chorus of admiration for Ferryman's stunning ST

Although I don't run a 911 yet, I'm getting close to fulfilling a long term promise to myself. I drove my first 911 aged 17, having started working school/college holidays at a well-known specialist (well, the alternative was stacking shelves...) and have been fortunate to have experienced many rare 911s over the years.

The closest I've come was the (cough) 968 Clubsport I ran for 6 months (please forgive me, but it was a stunning drive).

My ambition is a 911T/R style car

Thanks Helen

The Clubsport certainly convinced me that less is more. Great though it was, it didn't inspire like a 911

Like Helen says nothing wrong with the 968. I'm looking to buy one myself at the moment. Welcome to DDK and hope the dream of owning a 911 comes true soon!
