FS: 1972 LHD 911T 2.4 Restored (SOLD)

Post by Alan @ CanfordClassics »

Hi,

On behalf of the owner we have a LHD 2.4T for sale which has become unexpectedly re-available. Canford Classics originally restored and sold this car 8 months ago and is now being offered again as the owner has just bought a 69E which is being built into a semi track car.

The original sales thread can be seen here

http://www.ddk-online.com/phpBB2/viewto ... sc&start=0

The car was imported from the US. The shell was stripped and repainted in Porsche Metallic Green, the engine was rebuilt in the US, the gearbox has been stripped, , brakes are all new (new lines, flexis, calipers, all new discs and master cylinder, the suspension was stripped and fitted with all new bearings and bushes, the interior was fully re-trimmed in black leather and fitted with new leather GTS seats, new carpets, new headliner, all new lenses, new headlights, re-sealed fuel tank, new tires, re-furbished fuchs, etc

The exterior was de-trimmed ie no sill trim or bumper trim, but this can be added at cost if required.

The owner recently drove the car 1700 miles to Switzerland and it was faultless. The car has also been tuned on the rolling road at Bob Watson's.
