Hi Paul,

I offered that one up for Steve back in November:

There's plenty of response from one & all too, of course!

Ah yes, I remember - it was some thread that one, I forgot...!

I was in Den Haag at the weekend for the first time; bit like Blackpool or perhaps Rhyl without the good weather.... Lunch in the pier restaurant with horizontal snow on the windows and people still walking at the waterline on the beach! Damn hardy, those Dutch.

Hi Steve,

I missed that one, sorry about that, it really does look great.

All over the place at the moment, it's been a turbulent year, the cuts in publishing caused by el cruncho have been swingeing. Hanging onto RS fund has been difficile to say the least, the amount of other things that 'other' people think it would be best spent on has been growing.
Also, seeing so many other people selling their P+J's has made me more than a little circumspect in saying anything at the moment...it's a hard one to call?

Steve. :)

Hi Paul,

Did you get your oil leak fixed?
Thanks for the heads-up, OT, but why are there no more pics of the resto of the black RS at Freisinger?

EDIT: D'oh, just checked and more pictures have been put up

BTW Can anyone translate the German txt on the Vipergreen RS ad? :)

Roughly translated it states:

Colour: Viper Green.

The car still is is still in its original; unrestored paint finish.

The engine was rebuilt at a cost of over €30,000 using a NOS of crank case, high compression pistons, 2.8 RSR camshafts, new throttle bodies.

The transmission was completely overhauled with mechanical oil pump and 80% locked differential.

Ducktail with aluminum framework, 7" & 8" x 15" Fuchs wheels, Recaro sport seats.

I know the car well, having driven and photographed it. Phenomenal piece of kit.....

Hi Steve,
I think so, all seems dry now, unlike the weather I guess....!
Will be up on the Wirral again 3rd weekend in March for a week - if you are about or there's a meet in Cheshire area, see you there perhaps?

Thanks for that Andy, I've enquired to Manfred about the engine, awaiting a reply.

Hi Paul,

Let me know when you know and we'll have to meet up for a chat. Will you be bringing #0024?

Indeed - as long as the snow is gone, ideal for a pub lunch somewhere...
I was just talking to Bob Watson and he said there's no salt left for the roads in their area and the main Silverstone road was closed due to sheet ice last week. Must be bad down there for sure!
