Targa Florio Flashbacks
I'm on (semi) gardening leave at the moment, so have had some time to jump back into unfinished projects.
People have been asking me about my film documenting the Targa Florio Centenary.
I finished the edit months ago, but haven't had time or funds to record the voice over.
The finished edit is 45 mins, but here at least is short taster without narration:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjZu4Z11V7c
The pilgrimage to Sicily, through France via Reims and Dijon circuits, over the Alps into Italy, hanging out
with Vic Elford, and running in practise with the racecars, around the hills of the Piccolo Madonie, was a
trip of a lifetime.
I like to think that Jenks himself would be chuffed to make the cover of a book about the great driving routes

I was discussing this with JohnM last night & he is really keen. We thought a nice group of about 6 cars would be perfect. Maybe get the ferry to Bilbao & drive across the Pyreness .... problem is trying to find the time as 2008 is getting quite booked up allready58A - 71E wrote:

I have exactly that plan on my 'to do list' but as you say finding the time in 2008 might be tricky.hot66 wrote:I was discussing this with JohnM last night & he is really keen.
