FINALLY.....

Post by g3ngs »

After what seems like an age of pissing about my new babies are on their way :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Had to keep it under my hat for fear of jinxing it -

So everything's on the boats and they are on there way-

In transit 1972 911T in silver and a 1967 912 and both get here in a few weeks.

Both cars seem solid enough, I asked both sellers to take pictures of just about every inch of the cars and send copies of all receipts for engine work thats been done on both cars. And for super sweetness both come with a ton of spares, (the 911 has just enough room the driver)

I can only put it down to a pre midlife crisis (though that seems to be a bit of a rolling target).

Though the timing is a bit tricky, as a genuine living baby gets here on the 4th of May.

Still it be nice to catch 40 winks when I'm laying underneath them.

I kind of see it as redressing the balance-

My council tax goes up, because local gvt. wants to do xy&z, and they're getting it up the arse from central gvt.

Central gvt. needs to shaft local gvt. as they need the bunce they've already had off me to prop up the economy, which in it self could have done without the £5b it cost to go in search of you no what, in you know where because our main man wanted to be in with the boys at the top table in the country where the exchange rate ain't so hot at the moment.

So by pinching their cars I'm somehow redressing the balance both personally and globally (sic).

My shipper reckons that at the rate they are going there may be no cars left over there. They can't get the containers out quickly enough and not just classics new cars too.

Tom, I've pm'd you my shippers details
